Coastal Provisions is an idea and labor of love from the owner, Ian Shields. His passion to bring something special to such a beautiful neighborhood and city with its rich history and diverse culture was the inspiration and drive to meet this need.
With the support of the neighborhood, broader community, city officials, Webster Bank, RP Valois, family, and friends, Coastal Provisions was born out of an excitement that we hope carries through onto you!
It is truly the neighborhood store for the West End and broader New Bedford community. It is the community’s interest and support that will help Coastal Provisions continue to grow, flourish, and improve.
